Are you dissatisfied with the size of your tool? There are numerous male enhancement methods that you can try. Ads for penis enlargement procedures and products are in men’s magazines, radio and television shows, and websites, all claiming to increase the length and width of your penis.

Scientific research devoted to testing penis enlargement methods and products is limited. Reputable medical organizations and societies do not endorse penis enlargement surgery for purely cosmetic reasons. So think twice and do your research carefully before trying any male enhancement procedures or products because choosing the wrong one can damage your penis, affect your fertility, and cause erectile dysfunction or impotence.

What is Normal Penis Size

It’s common among men to worry if their penis looks too small and may not be large enough to satisfy their partners in bed. A number of studies, however, have shown that most men who think their dicks are too small actually have normal-sized penises.

This means that it’s highly unlikely that your penis is outside of the normal range. Even if it is, it’s still possible to have a satisfying sex life and father children.

An average flaccid penis measures between 3 and 4 inches (7.6 to 10.2 centimeters) while an erect penis measures between 5 and 7 inches (12.7 to 17.8 centimeters).

Your penis will only be considered abnormally small if it measures less than 3 inches (7.6 centimeters) when erect. This condition is known as micro-penis.

How Women View Penis Size

Some manufacturers of male enhancement products would like nothing more than to make you believe that penis size is of utmost important to your partner.

In reality, size doesn’t matter for most women. In fact, having a penis that’s too large can be a disadvantage because it can strike a woman’s cervix during intercourse, causing her pain or discomfort.

Penis size is a matter of personal preference for you and your partner. Unless your partner tells you otherwise, assume that you have nothing to worry about. Understanding your partner’s physical and emotional needs and desires is more likely to improve your sexual relationship than trying different things to enlarge your penis.

But on the other hand, there’s really nothing wrong with trying a male enhancement product – if you choose the right one. Learn more in Male Enhancement Methods: Spotting the Scams (Part II).
