ArginMax is natural male enhancement supplement created by the Silicon Valley-based Daily Wellness Company and has been available since 1997. There is nothing special about the ArginMax formula, which is composed of amino acids, herbs, vitamins, and minerals but four studies done in the past decade (which the manufacturer claims are all independent and peer-reviewed) have shown it to be an effective male enhancement supplement. In a double-blind placebo-controlled study on men with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction, 89 percent of the participants improved their ability to maintain an erection during intercourse, while 75 percent reported increased satisfaction in their overall sex life.

Ingredients at a Glance

If you know a thing or two about male enhancement supplements, then you’d probably guess that ArginMax’s main ingredient is L-arginine, a semi-essential amino acid which your body needs to produce nitric oxide, a neurotransmitter and vasodilator (causes blood vessels to widen) which is critical for you to get an erection.

ArginMax’s clinically-tested formula also includes Ginseng, Gingko biloba, American Ginseng, Korean Ginseng, Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin B complex nutrients – Thiamine (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Niacin (Vitamin B3), Biotin (Vitamin B7), Folate (Vitamin B9), and Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12).

Gingko and Ginseng are herbs that have been traditionally used to potentially treat sexual problems. Vitamin B1 is needed to optimize nerve transmission and boost energy production, which are vital in increasing libido. Vitamin B2 is crucial in energy metabolism throughout the body. Vitamin B3 is involved in the synthesis of sex hormones, helps dilate blood vessels, and triggers the release of histamine, which is normally produced during sexual excitation, causing the face and chest to flush and enhances orgasms. Vitamin B7 promotes the normal health of male sex glands. Vitamin B9, like Vitamin B3, is needed for histamine production. Vitamin B12 helps boost fertility and can help ward off impotence.

However, ArginMax does not contain known herbal ingredients that help produce larger and longer erections and boost libido like Yohimbe bark extract, Tribulus terrestris, Horny goat weed, Catuaba, and Damiana, which are found in the leading male enhancement supplements.

Positives

  • All-natural formula
  • Backed by clinical studies
  • Provides testimonials
  • Also available at GNC

Negatives

  • You need to take six capsules per day (taken all at once or three in the morning and three in the evening)
  • Outdated formula does not contain potent ingredients
  • No new studies on product
  • Negative Overviews

Final Thoughts

We recommend ArginMax if you’re looking for a “mild” male enhancement supplement. While it contains L-arginine, Ginseng, and Gingko Biloba, the other ingredients do little to address important male sexual dysfunction issues like erection problems and sperm quality. You might be better off buying a Vitamin B complex supplement or a multivitamin and mineral supplement. Having to take six capsules a day makes us question the product’s effectiveness, which is already suspect due to the absence of Yohimbe, Tribulus, and other potent ingredients.
