Women are said to be vainer than men, particularly when it comes to how they look. The ladies want bigger breasts, poutier lips, and even ‘designer vaginas,’ most likely due to the influence of idealized images of genitalia in porn movies.

It’s not just the women who feel insecure about their bodies. Penis size is perhaps the greatest source of male insecurity. That is why the male enhancement industry is thriving and will stay relevant after all these years. But before you try anything, don’t forget to measure your tool first because whatever type of male enhancement process you choose (with the exception of penis enlargement surgery), your penis will need time to respond to this.

Frequent measuring is likely to frustrate you because it usually takes a few weeks to add an inch to your penis – that is, if you find a quality male enhancement product. It is advisable to measure once every month to check for any significant gains.

Weight gain, particularly if you have a flabby stomach, can affect your performance and size because your penis will be hidden by a layer of fat above your pubic bone. Flatten your stomach first, if possible, to get the most accurate measurement.

How to Measure Your Penis
Most men underestimate the size of their penises. Stop looking at your tool from your vantage point, which is from above – that’s not how your woman sees it. It also gives you a false impression of your actual size.

A University of Pittsburgh study found that 26 percent of men gauged their penis size as below average, while only 5 percent think they were above average. On the other hand, a University of Saskatchewan (Canada) study showed that 86 percent of men said they stopped worrying about if they measure up after they learned the facts about penis size.
Grab a tape measure and a ruler and follow the instructions below to properly measure your penis, and compare it to size averages (based on data from the U.S. and Australia):

Flaccid Length
Undress and immediately measure your penis at room temperature to get your “standby size” because the cold or warm can cause shrinkage or growth. Position the tip of the ruler gently against the point where the shaft meets the abdomen. Bend the ruler along the shaft and read the length – the average size is 3.43 inches.

Erect Length
Get a boner and quickly take a measurement. Measure the top of your erection, starting from the side furthest from your testicles and check the figure at the tip of your shaft, holding the ruler against your penis base. The average hard length is 5.03 inches.

Erect Girth
While maintaining your erection, wrap the tape measure around your penis at its base. The average girth size is 5.14 inches around.

Erection Angle
Position your back against the wall and have a mirror in side view to estimate your angle. A 90-degree angle would point directly out in front, 180 degrees up at your chin. An average angle is 105.7 degrees – slightly up from horizontal.
