How to Measure Your Penis
Length

Girth
Penis girth or thickness is the measurement of the circumference of the completely erect penis. This measurement is taken from the average of three measurements: below the glans penis, in the middle of the shaft, and at the base.

The average penis is about 5.1 to 5.9 inches (12.9–15 cm) long and 4.85 inches (12.3 cm) thick when fully erect. The average stretched penile length at birth is about 1.6 inches (4 cm). Approximately 90 percent of newborn boys will be between 0.9 and 2.2 inches (2.4 and 5.5 cm).
The penis experiences limited growth between birth and five years of age. Very little growth occurs between the age of five and the onset of puberty. Average size at the start of puberty is 2.4 inches (6 cm). Men reach adult size at around age 17.
